What do you enjoy about your job?
I love being able to support families during the most difficult time of their lives. Guiding them through the process of a funeral gives me the satisfaction of knowing that I have helped someone during their time of need.
How long have you been location manager?
I have been location manager of Le Pine Footscray for a year and a half.
What do you enjoy in your spare time?
In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, boating and spending time with my family.
Are there any special community groups you work with or support?
In the local community, I am involved in the Altona Sports Club, Williamstown Rotary, Club Italia, Williamstown Italian Social Club, Altona RSL, Kensington Bowling Club and local nursing homes. I am also the vice president of the Green Button Foundation and the founder of a Laugh for a Life which is a foundation to raise money for people struggling financially who have any illness such as cancer patients and children with illnesses.
My goal is to have the local and surrounding communities see Le Pine Funerals as the preferred funeral directors they can trust and know we will support them through all aspects of a funeral.
David Franzo, Location Manager
Le Pine Funerals supports a range of community programs designed to help the young and old alike, as well as hosting memorial services and informational seminars.
Some of the organisations we work closely with are: 20th Man Fund, Lions, Rotary Club, Masonic Lodge and Community Sporting Clubs.
Preplanning your funeral makes sense. A prepaid funeral takes the emotional stress off your family, locks in your funeral cost at today’s price, and allows you to plan things your way.
When you're organising a funeral service, one of the first decisions will be whether you are organising a burial or a cremation. This choice will directly impact the type of funeral service you will have.
In the Book of Ideas, funeral directors have shared some of their stories of how families have honoured their loved ones, so that you can draw inspiration for your own funeral arrangements.
