Allison and Renee were absolutely amazing before, during and after the celebration.
Their assistance and attention to detail was wonderful. The big stand out was the respect that they showed everyone, including the departed. To say that they helped make a very emotional process a lot easier would have to be an understatement.
Effie was extremely caring and thorough in her approach.
She guided us through the process and gave us recommendations for mass booklets and live streaming, both of which we were very happy with. On the funeral day Ian and his team were very attentive and so was the car driver. Everything went smoothly which made this extremely difficult day easier to deal with.

Allison has been a funeral director for just over three years. Before joining the funeral industry, she worked in travel for more than 20 years, but had always wanted to pursue a career in funerals. The Covid period gave her the opportunity to make that change, and she considers it one of the best career moves she has made.
She says, “I love helping families through their most difficult times. To hear a family say ‘you made everything so easy’ really makes me feel like I have achieved something.”
In her spare time, Allison enjoys baking, which she finds relaxing, even though she admits she is a messy baker who dislikes cleaning up afterwards. Living near the beach, she loves spending time there, especially in winter when it is quiet and peaceful. She is also an avid reader who enjoys getting lost in a good book.
One of the most memorable funerals Allison arranged was for a gentleman who had worked with the Beatles at Abbey Road. His son brought in a live band, and his daughter sang “Imagine” without accompaniment — a beautiful tribute that made the service truly unforgettable.
