What do you enjoy about your job?
What I enjoy most about my job is the ability to assist families through a very difficult time in their lives. It is a privilege for us to be able to care for someone's loved one in a dignified and respectful manner, tailoring a service that honours and reflects their life.
I love listening to all the stories of what people have achieved in their lives. I also really enjoy the opportunities my job provides with getting out into the local community.
How long have you been location manager?
I have been with the company for over 9 years, with the last 18 months at the Kew East location.
What do you enjoy in your spare time?
In my spare time I enjoy yoga, hiking, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, reading, watching movies or TV series, drinking cups of tea and spending time with my cat Milly.
Are there any special community groups you work with or support?
I am an active member in the Rotary Club of Kew. I am the Treasurer Elect 2018-2019.
Le Pine also sponsors the Greythorn Bowls Club in Doncaster and the North Balwyn Bowls Club.
Le Pine Funerals supports a range of community programs designed to help the young and old alike, as well as hosting memorial services and informational seminars.
Some of the organisations we work closely with are: 20th Man Fund, Lions, Rotary Club, Masonic Lodge and Community Sporting Clubs.
Preplanning your funeral makes sense. A prepaid funeral takes the emotional stress off your family, locks in your funeral cost at today’s price, and allows you to plan things your way.
When you're organising a funeral service, one of the first decisions will be whether you are organising a burial or a cremation. This choice will directly impact the type of funeral service you will have.
In the Book of Ideas, funeral directors have shared some of their stories of how families have honoured their loved ones, so that you can draw inspiration for your own funeral arrangements.
