Jenny is passionate about Healesville having lived here for over 15 years. She loves the history of the town, the old homes, buildings and shops. Even the funeral home for Le Pine is the original Funeral Director’s own home and the thought of him living and working in the same place makes her feel proud to now be the Funeral Director at Healesville.
She cares about the town and its people and always feels it’s an honour to look after a family in their time of need with the loss of a loved one. She hopes family members always leave with a positive experience and that their wishes have been met.
Strong community links keep her busy being involved with local activities which have included Toastmasters, Public Hall committee, and she is hoping to become involved with the Healesville Music Festival which has become quite a major event in Healesville annually. Music is another love and she supports local music wherever possible.
Le Pine Healesville has been a sponsor of the Healesville Bowling Club for many years and she has enjoyed becoming involved with the annual challenge where local businesses in Healesville get together and play over six weeks.
Jenny loves treasure hunting and antiquing. She can quite often be seen on a Sunday morning at markets and the Healesville monthly market is a staple. Some of her other interests are spending time with her family and friends, pets, gardening, concerts and travel.
Le Pine Funerals supports a range of community programs designed to help the young and old alike, as well as hosting memorial services and informational seminars.
Some of the organisations we work closely with are: 20th Man Fund, Lions, Rotary Club, Masonic Lodge and Community Sporting Clubs.
Preplanning your funeral makes sense. A prepaid funeral takes the emotional stress off your family, locks in your funeral cost at today’s price, and allows you to plan things your way.
When you're organising a funeral service, one of the first decisions will be whether you are organising a burial or a cremation. This choice will directly impact the type of funeral service you will have.
In the Book of Ideas, funeral directors have shared some of their stories of how families have honoured their loved ones, so that you can draw inspiration for your own funeral arrangements.
