Le Pine Funerals has been providing funeral services to families in Victoria from our funeral homes in Melbourne for over 125 years since we first started in 1891.
Our caring funeral directors have supported families in the Box Hill area for many years. We have a strong connection to the local Italian community and arrange many funerals though the parish of St Francis and St Clare. We also cater to our Asian community with native speaking Funeral Directors to assist your family. We are proudly serving the families of Box Hill North, Blackburn, Burwood, Surrey Hills, Camberwell, Nunawading and other surrounding suburbs. No matter your faith or religion, we can help arrange a funeral that honours and celebrates your loved one’s life.
We will work closely with you, attending to all the details so you don’t need to worry during this difficult time.
Le Pine Funerals can help arrange any type of funeral. For example, you may want to hold the funeral service for your loved one at:
After your funeral service allow us to assist you to organise your wake either utilising our branch’s celebration lounge, or one of the local venues including The Box Hill RSL, Tudor Lodge or even the Box Hill Town Hall.

What do you enjoy about your job?
I enjoy when I first meet a family, every time I talk to them, when planning the service and the day of the funeral. My role is to reassure the family that I'm there, that everything is under control and they can relax.“
I see our job as similar to a pilot when the plane first takes off. The pilot always gets on the radio and explains who he is, where you are flying to, maybe what the weather is like at your destination. The pilot does not need to make this announcement. What he is really saying is: “I’m here. I’m in charge and have this journey under control. Please relax and I will take care of you.”
How long have you been location manager?
I have been a Location Manager with Le Pine for a little over two years, and moved to Le Pine Box Hill in May 2018
What do you enjoying doing in your spare time?
I am a Father, a husband, a motorbike rider, and an active member of the Mini Moke Owners Association. Between my cars, my loved ones, and of course my dog, I seem to be very busy!!
Are there community groups you work with or support?
Through Le Pine Box Hill I work closely with the Box Hill Central Rotary Club, the Box Hill Mens Shed, and the local RSL.
Scott Williams, Location Manager

Some of the organisations we work closely with are: 20th Man Fund, Lions, Rotary Club, Masonic Lodge and Community Sporting Clubs.
Preplanning your funeral makes sense. A prepaid funeral takes the emotional stress off your family, locks in your funeral cost at today’s price, and allows you to plan things your way.
When you're organising a funeral service, one of the first decisions will be whether you are organising a burial or a cremation. This choice will directly impact the type of funeral service you will have.
In the Book of Ideas, funeral directors have shared some of their stories of how families have honoured their loved ones, so that you can draw inspiration for your own funeral arrangements.
