Meet Ian Proudlock, Le Pine Funerals Glen Waverley’s Location Manager:

What do you enjoy about your job?

Every day I meet with new people, hear fascinating stories of peoples’ lives, and help people through one of the most difficult experiences of their life. I feel so privileged to work with our families as they transition through their grief at the loss of a loved one, to the ceremony that acknowledges the life and the stories of how that person touched each family member, friend and associate in so many ways.

How long have you been with Le Pine?

I began working for Le Pine since 2014, starting as a Funeral Director’s Assistant, then as an Arranger and Conductor at Le Pine Eltham, Location Manager at Le Pine Box Hill, and now Location Manager at Glen Waverley.

What do you enjoy in your spare time?

Living in the Dandenong foothills, I have been establishing a large garden of native plants, and I get so much joy from watching the birds, insects and animal life showing their appreciation of my garden. I also love writing, recording and producing music in my home studio, and spending quality time at home with my wife and our adored fur-babies.
