Le Pine Funerals is proud to sponsor the DOXA Golf Day each year at Yarra Yarra Golf Club.
Traditionally the day is held in the first week after the AFL Grand Final and before the beginning of the spring racing carnival each year.
The Doxa foundation, is run by Fr Joe Giacobbe. It assists with the education of underprivileged children and each year golf fundraising day contributed around $15,000 to the foundation to help it with its work.
The occasion is a regular fixture on Melbourne's sporting calendar and brings together many well known members of the community including a number of leading sporting identities, who enjoy a luncheon followed by a round of golf at the Yarra Yarra golf course.
At the conclusion of the day the trophies are presented while the participants enjoy a light meal and drinks.
The staff at Le Pine Funerals always enjoy themselves on the day and look forward to each year’s DOXA Golf Day.
