During the service

Whether you are using one of our chapels or another venue for the funeral, our dedicated funeral directors will ensure the funeral service goes according to plan.

We will look after all of the details of the service on the day as well as providing you our comfort and support. We will be there for you so you can be there for your loved ones.

If there is any way we can assist you on the day, just ask. We are here for you.

After the service

Supporting families long after the funeral service is over is an integral part of the service Le Pine's funeral directors provide.

We understand losing a loved one brings about vast changes in your life and to your future. To assist you with these changes, we have a comprehensive program of after care which we offer to all.

There are three aspects to the after care services we provide.

1. There is the information and resources you will find in the Coping with Grief section of this website. Our funeral directors have provided some answers to the questions they are commonly asked; there are video presentations from noted author and speaker on grief, Doris Zagdanski; and there are a series of book recommendations to assist you in your journey through grief.
   
2. Our funeral directors are available to provide ‘Coping with grief’ information sessions for groups. These forums can be very helpful for people wishing more information about topics that aren't often talked about. The forums have a practical focus, providing tips on how to deal with the range of effects grief can cause, as well as how to communicate to others about grief - whether the grief is yours or someone elses. We also present information sessions on a range of other funeral topics such as 'The Role of a Funeral Director' and 'Demystifying Funeral Myths'.

3. Our funeral homes run special memorial services at Mothers' Day and at Christmas. These services provide comfort at these significant times of the year, which can be difficult times when you are missing an important person in your life.
